Waist circumference – is taken at the narrowest point of the torso. Before you start taking measurements, tie an elastic band, an extra centimeter tape, or a lace around your waist.
Hip circumference – a centimeter tape should run horizontally around the body at the widest point of the hips, at the back – along the most protruding points of the buttocks.
